We usually go camping every Father's Day to celebrate with my Dad. But well, everywhere we usually camp is now burned to the ground! Ouch! So we decided to go to Apache Lake instead. We rented hotel rooms for the night and it worked out pretty good.
We got there early the first day and made it onto the boat. Stephen caught some good air and actually did a front flip off of the tube. I didn't have my camera out though so I missed a good pic!
We went to Mom and Dad's room and had dinner there (they got the one with a kitchenette). It was a real party room you could tell...that night we tried to play cards but the kids just wouldn't go to sleep so we ended the night early.
Eli crawled all over me all night. Which is typical but Adriana was a 'dream' Stephen said. They did really well I thought. Loved jumping on the beds of course. Something they don't really get to do at home. The next morning we went out and unfortunately Justin was sick. We set up a beach play area for the kids, so we had fun swimming and playing.
The tubing was fun. Needless to say it was Adriana and Lydia's first time! Whew whooo! Eli was so tired he fell asleep holding his snack and oh, his jacket kept his head propped up. It was hilarious. You couldn't even see his eyes when he was sleeping.
We had a late lunch before we left at the Marina. It was fun and the kids of course always enjoy eating out!
