Father's Day Camping!

Looking nice and raggedy from our camping trip....no sleep but lots of fun. And much cooler than the valley!
Poor Eli and his busted up face. He kept falling a lot. But not to worry. He healed quickly and loved every minute of it...the dirt and rocks and dogs of course.
Father and daughter cooking up a master piece!
So proud of her catch!

Father's Day we went up to Big Lake to do some fishing and have some fun camping. The first day Hunter caught a fish and the second day Joi caught one (her first!) It was as big as her! But what a cutie! Now that's how to fish...and if I must say so, girls RULE! Justin helped her show some enthusiasm with some "I'm cool" signs...and then we went and cleaned them. He showed her the cool guts and she held the hose. That's as close as she would come to actually cleaning them. Smart girl! Lindsay had to leave early with Alex, he had been sick the week before with croupe and just wasn't sleeping at night so she caught a ride back to the valley with Jen and Darren.

Eli enjoyed looking and touching the fish but that was about it. Although he did eat it later.

Eli did a wonderful job of helping us put the tent up...hahaha. And during the afternoons when it was just a little to warm in the tent we drug out the airmatresses and slept under the tree's. Eli included!

Typical mom as she makes breakfast in her rollers! Justin and Lindsay and their kiddo's.
Dad getting ready for his wonderful hours of fishing. Sorry you didn't actually catch anything this time dad! And of course Eli and his typical look...food all over but smiling just the same!
